About Ulrike MBACP, MBPsS

I started my career as a pharmacy technician in Germany. After moving to Scotland I became interested in understanding theories of human development and decided to do a degree in psychology. During that time I discovered a particular interest in counselling and pursued this path in my further career.

I have been working as a counsellor since the beginning of 2008. My experience encompasses the provision of counselling within the setting of a medical practice, charity organisations, an employee assistance programme (EAP) and  private practice.

Among a wide range of different clients I work with a broad variety of presented issues like bereavement, work related issues, depression, anxiety, relationship
issues, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), low self-esteem, panic attacks.
